Professor Crump, alias Paul Goddard, first appeared in London park a stones throw from Charlie Chaplin's birth place. His act then consisted of a toy dog which he insisted could jump through a hoop. Since then they have both jumped through many other hoops from children's theatre productions to alternative cabaret, from circus to West End Shows.

'Circus Krone' - Germany
'Barnum' The Circus Musical
(Harold Fielding Productions)

He has appeared at many country shows, fetes, festivals, fairs, corporate fun days, promotional events, trade shows, themed parties, both in the UK and abroad.

Research Work

He is always collecting and researching circus related items, especially clowns and stiltwalkers. Also fairgrounds and carnivals and he can provide reference material for event managers. He would welcome any information on these subjects. Please email for a list of second hand books for sale.

Puppet Workshops

With puppeteer Peter Charlton he undertakes puppet making workshops in schools. They help transform 'junk' materials, from paper bags to carpet rolls into surprisingly unusual puppets. Please email for costs and availability.
